Welcome to amyweaver.com! Amy is a young poet who surfaced in the DFW metroplex in 2000. Since then, she has been featured around the DFW metroplex and competed with 2001 Dallas Slam Team (who won last year's National Slam Championship in Seattle!!) The site is also dedicated to the poets in the metroplex who work hard to spread their message. I also want to recognize and thank those who keep the poetic venues thumping with talent. The site includes bios, pics, and event information for them whenever possible!
